#018 Why Being an Introvert Can Actually Help You Land Your Dream Job
Is being an introvert a negative trait for a job seeker?
Let me tell you, being an introvert is not a negative trait and this is not the same as shyness or social anxiety which can be negative things.
In fact, most introverts are often good listeners and thoughtful in their conversations. They think before they speak. They can perform really well in an interview by taking care of these three things.
First off, by highlighting their strengths with specific scenarios, next, preparing responses to some common interview questions ahead of time, and finally showing their excitement for the position and the company they are applying for.
By focusing on these key areas, introverts can come across as confident as extrovert candidates.
Plus, it’s important to note that being an introvert or an extrovert is not a black and white distinction.
Most people fall somewhere on a spectrum between these two personality traits.
I hope this helps!
