#012   Make Yourself More Searchable by Personalizing Your LinkedIn Profile URL 

Personalizing your LinkedIn public profile for search engine optimization (SEO) will make you  more discoverable on search engines and the LinkedIn platform.

Let me show you how you can customize it.

To change your LinkedIn profile URL:

1. Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage

2. Click View profile

3. Click Edit public profile & URL 

4. Under Edit your custom URL, click the Edit icon 

By default, the URL consists of random numbers and letters. 

So, you need to change yours to your first and last name. If that combo is already taken, then try using different combinations with your last name first or add a middle name if you have one.

5. Hit Save

Also, make sure your profile’s public visibility is ON, so you are searchable off the LinkedIn platform as well.
